December 13, 11am EST/8am PST: Overview of UK Education for USA students and advisors. In this session I'll give you the crash course on how UK education is structured, what the majors are like, how it works for a US student coming overseas, and a quick look at the application process.
January 10, 11am EST/8am PST: The UCAS Personal statement. Here we'll look at how it's put together, what's important, and what NOT to do.
January 24, 11am EST/8am PST: Cost. Yes, it's generally way more affordable than the US. So how does tuition, funding, and scholarships work (generally) in the UK? I'll explain a bit here.
February 7, 11am EST/8am PST: Student Life. What's it like to study in the UK? Are there dorms? Student clubs? Sports? Activities and adventures?
March 6, 11am EST/8am PST: Student Support. Is there support for students going overseas? Mental and physical health, learning support, pastoral support, help specifically for International Students, and how to navigate those considerations. Hint: it's pretty great.
